They can operate at temperatures 273°C-900°C and be corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant (can clean hot gases). Sintering allows to get filter material with relatively straight fine pores of the same size.

Filter materials are produced in the form of cups, cylinders, bushings, discs, plates. Sizes range from 1.5 mm diameter discs to size 450 x 1000 mm plates. The most effective application of filters is with several layers of different porosity and pore diameter.
